30 Days of Social Media Post Ideas
About two years ago I realized something rather odd about myself...I didn't have a hobby. Sure I read a lot of books, I unsuccessfully tried my hand at gardening, but I didn't have a hobby that I could dig into and really enjoy.
I told Marcus my dilemma and he said, "Well, what did you enjoy doing as a kid?" As I raced through my childhood in the early 80's, I remembered something: paint-by-numbers! Do you remember those? I loved doing them as a kid. I remember painting a cat surrounded by a velvety material that my grandmother actually hung on her wall with pride, God bless her.
And much to my delight, I found out that they actually make paint by numbers for adults! They are fabulous! Many of my friends are bona fide artists and painters, so I was a little embarrassed to let them know that I was merely filling in little spaces with paint where they told me to put it. But it was a hobby! And it did the trick!
Sometimes all we need to get our creative juices flowing is a simple prompt. Like the paint-by-numbers, we just need to know where to put the paint and what paint to use.
I know it can be difficult to figure out what to post on social media - especially when you're a new author or if you're not seeing any engagement with your readers. With that in mind, I created a FREE download that provides 30 days worth of social media post ideas. This is a great way to not only get conversations rolling with your readers but it will also help with your visibility on social media.
Pair this with creating an image with Adobe Spark and you're good to go!
