4 Easy Ways To Increase Your Social Media Exposure

Are you finding it difficult to grow your audience? Do you feel like you have plateaued and aren't seeing the growth you are looking for? Well, I'm glad you are here because we have some insights that will help you! Today I want to share 4 tricks that I have used to significantly grow our audience. And best of all, they will help you see results fast!

1) Comment On Other Blogs

This is one of my favorite ways to connect with others who could turn into new connections. I follow multiple blogs that I look over every day. If I see a post that is interesting or shares something that I could speak into, I go down to the comment section and get involved with the conversation

This is a simple way to not only connect with new people but also share insight, answer questions, and help others in the process. Look for blogs by other authors, reading communities, book reviewers, etc., that speak into your niche. Leave intelligent comments, answer questions posed in the post, share your thoughts or other insights. By connecting with others outside of your social media pages or even your own blog you will expand your audience and share your expertise.

2) Get Involved With Online Groups Or Forums

LinkedIn, GoodReads, and Amazon are just three examples of online outlets that offer forums or groups that allow others to post questions, share insight, answer questions, and interact with others. For example, I am a part of a book marketing group on LinkedIn where writers can post marketing and publishing questions. I go in there and answer questions, interact with others, and share insight. It's an easy way to connect with others online who I might not have connected with otherwise.

3) Buy Facebook Ads

Facebook ads are a fantastic way to expose your book and brand to a new audience in a very inexpensive way. The great thing about Facebook ads is that you can get incredibly specific in regards to who sees your ads and drawing in the right kind of people. There are multiple options available and you can control how much you spend. You can spend as little as $5 per day to get your feet wet and see what works for you. Facebook ads are very effective and give you a world-wide audience to connect with.

4) Go Offline

Who said you only have to stay online to grow your social media exposure? Get some good old fashioned face time with people! Speaking at conferences, giving lectures, attending events or workshops are great ways to not only share your expertise but also to direct these potential new fans to your social media outlets. Another way is to include your social media info on your business cards, pamphlets, and email signature to make sure people know exactly where they need to go to connect with you.

The key to increasing your exposure is showing up and getting involved. Look outside of the box and find ways to connect with others, but always be sure to point them back to where they can connect with you online.
